How to Use
1. Blood Collection
Collect patient blood directly into the PRP tubes using the included holder & needle.
2. Centrifugation
M-LAB Recommended Protocol (more efficient than standard competitors):
•Swing-Out Rotor: 1200 RCF — 4 minutes
•Fixed-Angle Rotor: 550 RCF — 3 minutes
This protocol yields:
•98% activation efficiency
•84.9% platelet recovery
•97.3% purity
3. PRP Extraction
Use the long needle + 5 ml injector to gently withdraw the PRP layer without disturbing RBCs.
4. Resuspension
Transfer both PRP samples into the resuspension tube.
Gently roll or invert for 30–60 seconds for uniform platelets.
5. Application
Draw final PRP using the 21G needle, then inject clinically using the 30G needle where required.
Cautions
•Single-use only — do NOT reuse, wash, or re-sterilise any part of the kit.
•Discard immediately if sterility seal is damaged or the vacuum level is compromised.
•Do not shake tubes aggressively; it reduces platelet viability.
•Keep away from extreme heat, humidity, or direct sunlight.
•Ensure the centrifuge protocol matches M-LAB settings for accurate PRP output.
•Not suitable for patients with blood disorders, infections, or anticoagulant intolerance.
•Use only by licensed healthcare professionals trained in PRP procedures.
